428 is a day which every single Malaysian should be remembered. I guess. I should drop down some notes to remember these days although I didn’t went for Bersih 3.0. I just stay at home and watching my news feed on facebook. Since Morning.
Personally, I do not into politics. Because it is too complicated and to think what actually those politicians are trying to do behind the back that only bring profits or benefits to themselves. Few years back, I started to had this fairy dreams that I will migrate to Japan when I was an adult, and now, I think migrating is an issue for me. A lot of things I could not just let go, like family and business. Although, the business is not mine now. Back then, I did not bother whatever shit happen to the economic or about the government policies or whoever be the Prime Minister. But still, I don’t think I care much now.
Seeing what Malaysian had done on 706 and 428, it really surprise me that, there are a lot of people will truly think about their future and next generation. Seeing what had happen on Youtube videos and facebook’s news feed are more reliable on news paper. Not even from BBC malaysia? And you can see how much news paper you had read you will never get the truth to be revealed, unless you are one of the participants on 428. In this case, there are 3 types of “true” story. One would be on the government side, another from Medias and The Protestor.
Government – Police officer is the one who suffering? Bersih is just a distraction? Trying to revenge on 706 on 428?
Media – Trying to censored those “important” scene ?
Protestor – Trying to voice out what they really want for the future ( Better Future for the next generation )
I remembered , when I was taking finance classes, one of the lecturer told me “The only thing you can trust on newspaper is number – date, toto and currency”. After all, I think is quite true.
After this incident, I think we as Malaysians, do not have the freedom of talk whatever we like. I would just to say that, everyone has their pros and cons. Just that whether they showing the pros or the cons to the public in the right way or not. At this point, I finally realize why my history subject is so suck when I was in high school. I guess I just really not into politics and history. I didn’t know how great is our prime minister is, what they actually did for us. Would anyone think of, if during 1957 Malaysia did not “Merdeka”, what will happen to Malaysia. Will it be better than now? never really divided to religion, had better life?
For a quick flash back on Malaysia history :-
From this video, I realize how much they suffer from dependent to become independent and all the politics issues.
I think I should at least think of what I should do for my future, and my country as a Malaysian. Be proud and be cool to think what is good for now and future.
